Our Hearts go out to street children. Hearts in Motion (HIM) is an organisation that was founded out of a desire, to rescue street children from the slums and the streets of Chennai in south India, in June 2007. We are committed to helping them and provide a safe place for them to grow up. Hearts in Motion has a local board in Holland. We work in partnerships in Chennai. For the last 20 years the partners we are working with now, have been pouring out there hearts among the people and children on the streets of inner city Chennai. They also have a shelter, which houses 40 ex-streetkids a the moment. The children here get clean water to drink, good food to eat, get medical care, have an opportunity to attend school and above all have a safe living environment. Every child has a chance here to develop physically, mentally and socially. You can support financially Hearts in Motion on a monthly basis.
